Movie No-one?
Well, since I have landed in India, I have hardly read blogs, and even rarely (read never) wrote my own blog. So much for the "free" and yet "busy" life I had back in Germany. Well, convocation has happenned, my batchmates came, fed me free good food, and then as usual, I continued my routine to watch a movie every weekend, with the good-old company of SaGu. But what happenned to day was something totally out of the league.
One might have experienced once atleast, not getting movie tickets for a show he/she wanted to watch desperately, with a House Full board at the Box-office. And then you get back in your car/ on your bike, and probably head off towards home, or if more adventurous go to the next cinema showing that movie, and try your luck there.
Well, something similar is what Machi and I did today, at Huma Adlabs. Trying to watch Ahista Ahista we reached Huma at 10.30 PM, with the hope of there being one more show, but the last show for this flick was at 10 PM. With neither of us having seen the movie, we decided 30 min was too much to miss, and so decided to try our luck at the PVR @ Nirmal Lifestyles, Mulud. Reaching there at 10.50 PM, I saw a show that was slated to start at 10.40 PM. Happy enough, I promptly went to the counter and this is what happenned:
I : Can I have two tickets for Ahista Ahista, the 10.40 show?
Ticket Counter : Sorry Sir...
I : Its sold out? :O
TC : No sir, its actually that you are the first person to ask for this movie, this show.
I : Are you serious? :O So, are u running the show or not? /:)
TC : Sorry Sir, but we need 10 people to run the show. And since you are 2, its not going to be possible :( You could try Just my Luck, Click or The Man.
I : No thanks, I have seen them already.
And now, Machi and I come back dejected, not being able to aquire a ticket, not for the fact of the movie being house full, but for the reason that the min. number of viewers wasn't reached! :( Sad, depressed, as I was in full enthu to watch Soha Ali Khan! I shall have my day, I'll watch it tomorrow :)
